MICHAEL CAMPBELL

Managing Director

I founded Nicholas Michael in 2016 and am the sole owner of the business. I have been in Construction recruitment 10 years and previously ran an office in London for a number of years before I set my business up. Originally, I come from an electrical background and qualified as Approved Electrician which I worked as for a number of years.

In recruitment I created a bit of a niche market predominantly concentrating on working with Concrete Repair and Civil Engineering contractors. Our reputation and customer service we provide is at the forefront of my focus and aiming to give the highest levels of service. Majority of mine and the businesses clients we have longstanding relationships with, ranging from small one-man bands all the way up to blue chip and larger main contractors.

I have a great team that supports me and the business and make us the agency we are today with us constantly growing and pushing forward. I enjoy watching the boxing and regularly train in the gym 5 – 6 days a week as fitness is big part of my life. In normal circumstances I enjoy travelling and am also a big snowboarding fan!

AARON MINET

Senior Recruitment Consultant

Working in the Construction Industry for three years prior to joining Nicholas Michael gave me the knowledge to successfully place candidates into temporary and permanent roles. I started off in the refurbishment industry mainly as a Painter & Decorator but also learnt elements of different trades when working for my uncles family run business.

I started with Nicholas Michael in 2018 and started off as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant working my way up to Senior Recruitment Consultant within three years. My main role in the office is to manage our clients’ expectations and to make sure my resource team are providing the best service as well as placing the most successful candidates into construction-based roles. The best part of working for Nicholas Michael is that we work extremely hard as a team to ensure we get the best results.

In my spare time I like going to the gym and taking long walks in the countryside with my dog Jasper.

ALDWYN JERMAKOW

Senior Recruitment Consultant

I joined Nicholas Michael Ltd in 2020. I have extensive experience in recruiting and project management with a construction fuelled background. I have established myself up to a supplier of choice with clients nationwide – ranging from small to medium, all the way to principal contractors.

Being a consultant with a genuine interest and knowledge in construction, allows me to meet and go in depth for both clients and candidates requirements and producing solutions that are best suited to the situation. I pride myself on service and building long lasting relationships and with both candidates and clients; just like a contractor would for their clients and sub-contractors.

I am an avid Manchester Utd supporter and enjoy playing golf as much as I can.

ANDREW CAMPBELL

Recruitment Consultant

I have worked and been involved in recruitment since 2015, construction has always been my focus. I have worked my way up from recruitment resourcer to sales consultant and aim to climb the ladder even higher.

I am motivated to ensure all my clients receive the best service and available operatives at all times to keep my longstanding relationships and high standards.

Nicholas Michael has opened up many opportunities for me that will ensure I get the best out of my future within construction and provided me with invaluable experience such as confidence, knowledge and discipline. Working alongside the team at the company is one of my favourite aspects of the job due to the great environment it creates within the office.

Outside of work I enjoy regular training at the gym to keep me in shape and outside of COVID, ski / snowboard holidays.

KEELAN BROADBRIDGE

Recruitment Consultant

Prior to joining Nicholas Michael, I developed my background in the construction industry; completing a level 3 construction diploma which accelerated me into the industry. I have dedicated my time since focusing on the construction industry and managing workers on-site.

I pride myself on my high level of customer service and forming long-term client partnerships, enjoying the challenge and whatever gets thrown my way; whilst doing so. I am responsible for contract positions here at Nicholas Michael.

In my free time I like to work on my car, replacing all the parts which seem to fall off on a week-by-week basis.

SAM COOKE

Junior Recruitment Consultant

Joining Nicholas Michael in 2022 has given me the chance to transfer my sales skills of more than 7 years into the construction industry.

I am a well-presented individual who has excellent communication skills with a strong ability to relate with a wide range of people of all professional levels. I possess strong organisational characteristics proven within my sales experience. On top of all this I work well under pressure which makes me the perfect individual for the construction industry.

I am a very approachable person with a quick mindset to change and adapt with new tasks and challenges. I feel my enthusiastic approach to work would make me a great asset to the industry.

In my spare time I’m hugely motivated by the gym and have trained in Muay Thai for the last 10 years and competed. I am also a big family man – these main aspects of my life are what drives me to succeed.
